Jaroslaw Kaczynski, leader of Poland’s ‘Law and Justice’ conservative party said on Sunday that Poland must resist the “traveling theatre” of gay pride marches.
“The hard offensive, this traveling theater that is showing up in different cities to provoke and then cry... we are the ones who are harmed by this, it must be unmasked and discarded,” he said.
He also praises a Polish archbishop who said earlier this month that Poland was under siege from a “rainbow plague” of gay rights campaigns.
Parliamentary elections are scheduled in Poland on October 13. Kaczynski and the ‘Law and Justice’ party use LGBT+ rights as a key campaign issue saying they undermine traditional Catholic values.
