The Sales Enablement team operates at the heart of the eCommerce business unit, driving differentiated value for our customers. We are looking for a Content Manager to join us and maintain and expand a database of pre-written proposal content to improve the proposal quality and team productivity. You will also define and optimise the database structure and management to ensure data integrity.

How will you add value?
In this exciting new role, you will design and own the architecture for the overall knowledge base implementation and define and optimise the database structure. You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding a database or pre-written content and you’ll also record management ensuring ease of access and data integrity. You’ll assimilate information extracted from SMEs and re-write it into a defined style, ensuing that it is clearly articulated and easy to integrate into proposals. We would also like you to work with graphics designers as required, maintaining a comprehensive library of images, templates. By reviewing the structure of the knowledge base on a regular basis, you’ll ensure that it reflects the needs of the business. You’ll also provide regular training to users of the knowledge base and gather feedback on a regular basis. From time to time you may also be expected to come up with creative ways to catch the attention of these customers, creating presentations and other materials that help sell Worldpay.

What will make you the ideal candidate?
We would like our Content Manager to be a great writer with impeccable written English and grammar and strong Microsoft Word skills. Coming from a successful background in content writing, technical writing, marketing or sales, you will also have a track record of coordinating stakeholders to deliver work to schedule and specification. Ideally you will come from the payments space, where you acquired a detailed technical expertise. Due to the fast paced nature of our team and eCommerce division, we are keen to get someone on board who has great initiative and is results driven and inquisitive. Our team is also looking for a proactive and strategic thinker who also has excellent organisation skills and the ability to project manage multiple RFPS.  You are a confident networker with great communication skills, which will enable you to form great relationships internally and externally! Our content management software is Qvidian and it would be ideal if you have had exposure to this as well. Previous RFP-writing experience is also desirable but not essential, however you should be aware of the principals involved in B2B sales and RFP-writing and a desire to build a career in bid management.
